Location Groups

Location groups are used for location-based access control, restricting the records that Protege X operators can view. Each group can contain one or multiple locations which represent different branches, franchises or regions that are part of the same Protege X place. You can assign a location group to an operator's role, enabling them to only see the users, access levels and other records that are associated with that location group.

To use location groups, enable LBAC Mode in the place programming. Before you program any location groups, we recommend that you plan out the structure of your system to ensure that everything is programmed in a logical way.
