The Protege X cloud system provides on-the-ground access control, intruder detection and automation using intelligent Protege WX controllers. Each controller is paired with Protege X to receive programming downloads and report back alarms and events from the site.
To set up a controller and get it running in Protege X, you need to:

Contact ICT Customer Services or Technical Support to register the controller or controllers that you are planning to connect to the system. You must supply the serial numbers of all controllers so that they can be added to the Protege X controller registry.

In Protege X, add a controller with default records or import a database from an existing Protege WX controller.

Enable cloud connection on the Protege WX controller.

Pair the controller with Protege X.
Once the controller has been paired, the local programming on the controller is deleted and the records from Protege X are synchronized to the controller, making it part of the Protege X system.
