Deleting a Controller

A controller must be unpaired before it can be deleted.

1. Navigate to Controller Records | Controllers and select the controller to be deleted.
2. Click Unpair.
3. Click Proceed to confirm unpairing.
4. Click Delete.
5. Click Yes to confirm deleting the controller record.

Deleting a controller should be performed with caution.

Currently when you delete a controller all of the input, output, expander and other controller-dependent records associated with it are also deleted. This includes all records found under the controller programming page.

If you need to replace a physical controller, simply unpair the controller, update the serial number and pair a new controller.
